🌟Big Congratulations 🌟 to club members for their successes this past weekend:
👉Stratty, who obtained his BJC 2nd Kyu at the Area grading on Sunday, an excellent performance with great wins in all his fights and some impressive technical skills on display.💪
👉 Samuel, who completed the technical training for his BJA Club Referee qualification with the practical to follow in a few weeks. 👏
👉George R who was taking part the England Squad training session, following his excellent performance at the Ippon Trophy competition in Antwerp the previous weekend.🤜
👉Stratty, who obtained his BJC 2nd Kyu at the Area grading on Sunday, an excellent performance with great wins in all his fights and some impressive technical skills on display.💪
👉 Samuel, who completed the technical training for his BJA Club Referee qualification with the practical to follow in a few weeks. 👏

🥋All the best to John Tobin & Marcin Jakubowski, (Nage-no-kata), and Bob Cleevely (Kime-no-kata) & Richard Bannister (Kodokan Goshin Jutsu) who are competing at the BJC Kata Championship today.🤞

A long, tiring, but ⭐️incredibly rewarding⭐️ day yesterday at our first club grading of the year.
Well done to everyone who attended - Lots and lots of new belts awarded, including a couple of major achievements.
👉 We awarded 94 new grades, with handful more left for us to mop up in the week.
👉 Cian R achieved his 1st Blue tab, having maxed out his U8 syllabus
👉 James S & Archie F both achieved their 4th Kyu (Orange Belt), which is the highest grade on our club syllabus for Primary school age children.
👉Not to be out done by his younger brother, we had Bobby S earning his 3rd Kyu (Green Belt), which is the top BJC grade we can award in club.
👉And to fully round off the achievements, I was immensely proud to award Samuel F with his BJA 1st Kyu (Brown belt). An extremely well earned grade - coming back from injuries that might have seen others give up, Samuel has worked hard to regain fitness, begun his return to competition, passed his L1 coaching award, and become an important part of the Club's younger coaching team.
As always, my hugest thanks to the Coaches & off-mat team who are absolutely key to making these events run smoothly. 👏
